Introduction and Overview
Leading Edge Software is considering implementing a new feature titled Market Place for the purpose of enabling Sales Associates to post ads related to listings, buyers, and Open Houses. This feature would be implemented in the next release of our newest product coming to market in early May, quick!Office Commander 5.0. It would not be available in the other Web Access modules QWEB 3 or QWEB 4. Sales Representatives will be able to add, view and search information via Web Access which today is usually posted manually on the office white board or typed by office administrators into quick!Office Commander either as a group page (with page = no) or the agent bulletin.
The objective of this discussion board is to help us determine the importance of such a new feature and to seek your input as to the features that are important to your company. Features Included
Sales Associates can log into Commander Web version and on their own, post the following:
- A buyer they have for specific types of properties (price range, area, a "must" features or type of property)
- A property they know of, which may not be available on MLS
- Open House
- Expiry Date will be available for each message to facilitate mass deletion of ads before a certain date (default 30 days)
- Search criteria includes: Buyer, Seller, Open House, Price Reduction, ICI
- Multi categories can be selected to help finding a specific property
- Sales Associate has an option to modify and delete their own ad
- Administrator has an option to modify and delete all messages
- An administrator has an option to create a customized category specific to office's needs
- Length for customized category will be maximum 25 characters
- Length of the add will be maximum or 255 characters
- 10 adds will be displayed per page based on date entered
Features NOT included
- Archive of old ads
- Mass delete option
- Audit Trail Report
- Configuration setup to allow specific Security Level to delete the ads/messages
Benefits
Some of the benefits can be summarized as follows:
- Sales Associates will be informed about new properties or “hot” buyers without having to come to the office.
- Sales Associates from multi branch offices with centralized database will be able to view the inventory belongs to the whole company, not only their own branch.
- Option to post a listing BY SPECIFIC Branches will be provided.
- Agents Bulletin can be dedicated to Office related activities.
- Save time of Front Desk operators, who won’t have to type the Bulletin or send Group Pages to inform Sales associates about “hot” listings or open houses.
- Sales Associates will be able to post a property they have available, which may not yet be listed on MLS.
- Sales Associates will be able to post a prospective BUYER they have, including some of the criteria for the type of property in which they are interested.
- Sales Associates will be able to post their availability for sitting on an Open House, or the need to have someone sit at their Open House.

This product would be released only on the newest Web 2.0 platform,
If we have a large enough group of clients interested in participating in a focus group to ensure our specifications are in line with your business needs, it would be realeased in Q3 or Q4 of this year.
